Simple, cute, and fun — just how we like it…
The Baby Spider Amigurumi Free Crochet Pattern by Jade Gauthier-Boutin (Ravelry) is a delightful little project that brings together charm, creativity, and coziness. Despite its small size, this spider has an adorable personality, highlighted by its large 12mm safety eyes, which give it a cute and whimsical look. Crocheted with only about 7g of bulky weight yarn (such as Parfait Chunky, Honey Bunny, Baby Snuggle, or Himalayan Dolphin), this pattern is not only beginner-friendly but also a great stash-busting idea for leftover yarns. With the help of a 4mm crochet hook, polyester fiberfill, and basic tools like a yarn needle and stitch markers, you can create a soft, cuddly spider that is as huggable as it is unique.
We are truly grateful to Jade for designing and sharing this free amigurumi pattern with the crochet community. Whether you stick to the suggested chenille-style yarns for a fluffy texture or experiment with your own favorites, this tiny spider is sure to be a fun addition to your handmade collection. At the end of this pattern, you’ll also discover inspiring amigurumi spider ideas that will spark your creativity and encourage you to explore even more charming crochet projects.
