Materials:

• Yarn: Visell Baby Smile #001 (main color), Himalaya Dolphin Baby #80358 for a dress, Himalaya Dolphin Baby #80368 for a beak and legs
• Hook size: 4.0 mm
• 20 mm safety eyes
• Some black thin yarn for eyelashes
• Tapestry needle
• Stitch marker
• Fiberfill

Abbreviations:

R = row
mc = magic circle (magic ring)
ch = chain
st = stitch
sc = single crochet
dc = double crochet
hdc = half double crochet

sl st = slip stitch
inc = 2 sc in the next stitch
dec = single crochet 2 stitches together
BLO = back loop only
F.o. = finish off
( ) * 6 = repeat whatever is between the brackets the number of times stated
=12 = number of stitches you should have at the end of the round/row

FREE AMIGURUMI PLUSH DUCK PATTERN

Legs (make 2)

With orange yarn:
Make 5 ch.
Make an oval starting from the 2nd ch from hook, work on both sides of the chain.
R 1. From the 2nd ch from hook: inc, 2 sc, 2 inc in last st, on the other side: 2 sc, inc = 12
R 2: 2 inc, 8 sc, 2 inc = 16
R 3: 16 sc in BLO
R 4: 2 dec, 8 sc, 2 dec = 12
R 5: 2 dec, 4 sc, 2 dec = 8
R 6-7: 8 sc (2 rows)
Stuff only the foot.
Fold top of the leg flat and 4 sc through both sides across.

Arms (make 2)

Start with white yarn:
R 1: 5 sc in mc
R 2: (inc) * 5 = 10
R 3: (1 sc, inc) * 5 = 15
R 4: 15 sc
R 6: 3 sc, 4 dec, 4 sc = 11
R 7: 2 sc, 3 dec, 3 sc = 8
Change to dress color:
R 8: 8 sc
R 9-13: 8 sc (5 rows)
Stuff only the bottom part of the arm.
Make 2 sl st. Fold top of the arm flat and 4 sc through both sides across.

R 2: (inc) * 6 = 12
R 3: (1 sc, inc) * 6 = 18
R 4: (2 sc, inc) * 6 = 24
R 5: (3 sc, inc) * 6 = 30
R 6: (4 sc, inc) * 6 = 36
R 7: 36 sc in BLO
R 8: 36 sc
R 9: Attach the legs: 10 sc, 4 sc together with sc of the 1st leg, 8 sc, 4 sc together with sc of the 2nd leg, 10 sc = 36
R 10: 36 sc

Change to dress color:
R 11: 36 sc
R 12: 36 sc in BLO
R 13: dec, (4 sc, dec) * 5, 4 sc = 30
R 14: 30 sc
R 15: (3 sc, dec) * 6 = 24
R 16-17: 24 sc (2 rows)
R 18: (2 sc, dec) * 6 = 18
R 19: Attach the arms: 5 sc, 4 sc together with sc of the 1st arm, 5 sc, 4 sc together with sc of the 2nd arm
R 20: 18 sc
Stuff with fiberfill.
F.o. and leave a long tail for sewing.

Head

With white yarn:
R 1: 6 sc in mc
R 2: (inc) * 6 = 12
R 3: (1 sc, inc) * 6 = 18
R 4: (2 sc, inc) * 6 = 24
R 5: (3 sc, inc) * 6 = 30
R 6: (4 sc, inc) * 6 = 36
R 7-12: 36 sc (6 rows)
Insert the safety eyes between R 8 and R 9 with 7 sc between them.
R 13: (4 sc, dec) * 6 = 30
R 14: (3 sc, dec) * 6 = 24
R 15: (2 sc, dec) * 6 = 18
Stuff with fiberfill.

Beak

With orange yarn:
Make 4 ch.
Make an oval starting from the 2nd ch from hook, work on both sides of the chain.
R 1. From the 2nd ch from hook: 2 sc, inc, on the other side: 2 sc, inc = 8
R 2: 3 sc, inc, 3 sc, inc = 10
R 3: 9 sc, inc = 11
R 4: 4 sc, inc, 6 sc = 12
Do not stuff.
Sl st. F.o. and leave a long tail for sewing.

Tail

With white yarn:
R 1: 6 sc in mc
R 2: (inc) * 6 = 12
R 3-5: 12 sc (3 rows)
Do not stuff.
Fold top of the tail flat and sew together.

Bow

With dress color yarn:
Make 29 ch.
R 1: from the third ch from hook: 27 ch, 1 turning chain
R 2-4: 28 sc, 1 turning chain
R 5: 3 sc, 2 hdc, 3 dc, 2 hdc, 8 sc, 2 hdc, 3 dc, 2 hdc
Do not stuff.
Fold top of the bow flat and sew together.

Middle part for the bow
With dress color yarn:
Make 9 ch.
R 1: from the third ch from hook: 7 ch, 1 turning chain
R 2: 8 sc
F.o. and leave a long tail for sewing.

Skirt

Attach the dress color yarn to the front loop of the R 12 of the body.
R 1: BLO: 1 sc in every st to the end of row
R 2: (3 sc, inc) * repeat to the end of row
R 3: (1 sc, inc) * repeat to the end of row
F.o.

Assembly

Sew the head to the body.

Wrap the middle of the bow with strong thread a couple of times.
Wrap the bow with the crocheted middle part and sew the edges together.
Sew the bow to the center of the head on the seam on the middle part for the bow.

Sew the beak exactly under the eyes between R 10 and R 12.
Then sew the tail exactly in the center at the back between the R 6 and R 7.

Embroider eyelashes as shown in the photo.

Your duck amigurumi is ready!
