You will need:
• For Pusheen the cat: Ayaz Babyfine yarn (180 m/100 g): grey #1195, dark grey #1130
• For other kittens: YarnArt Dolce Baby (85 m/50 g): orange #852 or milk #745
• YarnArt Jeans yarn: black or pink
• 2.5 mm crochet hook
• 8 mm safety eyes
• 6×8 mm safety nose (optional)
• Stitch marker
• Tapestry needle
• Scissors
• Fiberfill
Abbreviations:
R – row
ch – chain
sl st – slip stitch
sc – single crochet
hdc – half double crochet
inc – increase (2 sc in one stitch)
dec – decrease (2 sc together)
[…] – number of stitches you should have at the end of the row
(…) – repeat whatever is between the brackets the given number of times
AMIGURUMI KITTEN FREE PATTERN
Tail
With dark grey yarn:
R 1: 8 sc in magic ring [8]
R 2: 8 sc
Change to grey yarn:
R 3-4: 8 sc (2 rows)
Change to dark grey yarn:
R 5-6: 8 sc (2 rows)
Change to grey yarn:
R 7-8: 8 sc (2 rows)
Change to dark grey yarn:
Cut the grey yarn and fasten off.
R 9: 8 sc
R 10: only 1 sc
Do not stuff the tail.
Fold the top opening flat and 4 sc through both sides.
Cut the yarn and fasten off.
Legs (make 2)
With grey yarn:
R 1: 7 sc in magic ring [7]
R 2-3: 7 sc (2 rows)
R 4: only 1 sc
Do not stuff the leg.
Fold the top opening flat and 3 sc through both sides.
Cut the yarn and fasten off.
Arms (make 2)
With grey yarn:
R 1: 6 sc in magic ring [6]
R 2-3: 6 sc (2 rows)
R 4: only 1 sc
Do not stuff the arm.
Fold the top opening flat and 3 sc through both sides.
Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing.
Body
With grey yarn:
Make 7 ch
R 1: From the 2nd ch from hook: inc, 4 sc, 4 sc in last st, 4 sc, inc [16]
R 2: 2 inc, 4 sc, 4 inc, 4 sc, 2 inc [24]
R 3: (1 sc, inc) repeat 2 times, 4 sc, (1 sc, inc) repeat 4 times, 4 sc, (1 sc, inc) repeat 2 times [32]
R 4: (2 sc, inc) repeat 2 times, 4 sc, (2 sc, inc) repeat 4 times, 4 sc, (2 sc, inc) repeat 2 times [40]
In the next row we will crochet the legs and tail onto the body.
R 5: 5 sc , 3 sc with sc of the 1st leg, 4 sc, 3 sc with sc of the 2nd leg, 13 sc, 4 sc with sc of the tail, 8 sc [40]

If you use a safety nose, insert it in R 16.

Insert safety eyes in R 17 at the distance of 5-6 sc from each other.

With dark grey yarn:
For the grey cat (Pusheen the cat) crochet stripes with 8 surface slip stitches. The first strip between R 13 and R 14, the second one between R 15 and R 16.
Stuff the body with fiberfill.
Sew the top opening edge closed.
Embroider a mouth and whiskers using a black YarnArt Jeans yarn, 3 stripes on the head using a dark grey plush yarn.
Sew the arms to the body between R 11-14.
