Head and Body

We start to crochet with the main color (pink) ATTENTION! in two strands. We knit in turning rows from bottom to top.

Round 0. Make 20 ch + 1 ch up;
Round 1. Make 20 sc into the resulting chain, starting in the second loop from the hook;
Round 2-14. Crochet in turning rows, 20 sc in each row. This is our little body. Now we shape the flamingo’s neck.
Round 15. 6 sc;
We turn crocheting;
Round 16. 6 sc;
Continue with turning rows;
Round 17-24. 6 sc.

Now we will form the bird’s face. To do this, we make additional 4 ch.

Round 25.3 sc in a chain of ch, starting in the second loop from the hook,
then along the main crochet another 6 sc;
Round 26-32. Crochet in turning rows of 9 sc in each row. Cut the yarn

We make the second part in the same way. Sew both parts with slst with the main color yarn (in one yarn). As we connect, we stuff the bird with holofiber.

The bird’s body is ready. Now we need to knit the beak. To do this, we collect 18 sc right on the muzzle in front, starting from the very bottom of the muzzle, in a circle.

Beak:

Start with yellow yarn in one.
Round 1. 18 sc;
Round 2-4. 18 sc;
Round 5. ( 1 sc, dec)*6 (12);
Round 6. 12 sc;
Round 7. (1 sc, dec)*4 (8)
Change the yarn to black.
Round 8. 8 sc;
Round 9. 4 dec (4).

Wings (2 times):

Crochet in the same color as the body of the flamingo, only in one yarn.
Round 1. 6 sc in MR (6);
Round 2. 6 inc (12);
Round 3. (1 sc, inc)*6 (18);
Round 4-9. 18 sc.
Fold in half, connect with slst. Now we will make the feathers black.
We attach black yarn to the edge of the wing. We do 6 ch; 5 sc second from hook ch; slst.
Repeat 7 more times. You should get such feathers.

Legs:

Crochet in the same color as the beak (yellow).
We assemble the leg, as well as the beak, directly on the bird’s body. Approximately in the middle of the lower part.
Round 1.15 sc in a circle;
Round 2-20. 15 sc.
Stuff the leg, fold it in half, close the hole with slst.
We put the second leg on the first one. Also in a circle.

Round 1. 15 sc;
Round 2-18. 15 sc.
Stuff loosely. Fold. Sew the lower part to the first leg.
You can sew all the leg parts separately, then sew them on.

Eye:

Embroider on both sides in black.
