Materials:

1) Acrylic: Yarn Weight – Sport / 5 strands (12 wpi) (300 meters/100 gr) – brown, dark brown, white, beige
2) Acrylic Paint – black
3) Hook 2.0 mm
4) Fine and thick wire
5) Glue
6) Padded polyester

Dimensions of finished toys: height is 18 cm, length is 19 cm

Head:

Circular crochet with brown and white yarn.
Begin crocheting with brown yarn.
1 R – magic ring, 6 sc (6)
2 R – 6 inc (12)
3 R – (1 sc, 1 inc) repeat 6 times (18)
4 R – (2 sc, 1 inc) repeat 6 times (24)
5 R – (3 sc, 1 inc) repeat 6 times (30)
6 – 9 R – 30 sc (30)

10 R – (4 sc, 1 dec) repeat 5 times (25)
11 R – 25 sc (25)
12 R – (3 sc, 1 dec) repeat 5 times (20)
13 R – 20 sc (20)
14 R – (2 sc, 1 dec) repeat 5 times (15)

Change yarn to white

Horse Lip

Beige yarn crochet row.
1 Row – Make in 2 ch, crochet 3 sc in the second loop from the hook, do not bind off the loop. Turn the hook to the wrong side.
2 Rows – 1 turn loop, 3 inc (6), turn the front of the hook
3 Rows – 1 turn loop, (1 sc, 1 inc) repeat 3 times (9), turn the hook to the wrong side
4 Rows – 1 turn loop, (2 sc, 1 inc) repeat 3 times (12), turn the front of the hook
5 – 6 Rows –1 turn loop, 12 sc (12).
Break the yarn, leaving a long end to sew to the head.

Lower lip:

Beige yarn crochet row.
1 Row – Make in 2 ch, crochet 3 sc in the second loop from the hook, do not bind off the loop. Turn the wrong side of the hook.
2 Rows – 1 turn loop, 3 inc (6), turn the front of the hook.
3 Rows – 1 turn loop, (1 sc, 1 inc) repeat 3 times (9), turn the wrong side of the hook
4 Rows – 1 turn loop, 9 sc (9).
Break the yarn, leaving a long end to sew to the head. Sew the lip.

Ears (x2):

Crochet circular with brown yarn.
1 R – magic ring, 5 sc (5)
2 R – 1 inc, 1 sc, 1 inc, 1 sc, 1 inc (8)
3 – 4 R – 8 sc (8).
Break the yarn, leaving a long end to sew to the head. Sew the ears to the head.

Nostrils (x2):

Make 4 ch with beige yarn and sew it onto the nose.

Legs (x4):

Each leg consists of three parts.
Prepare two 70 cm pieces of thin wire, bend them three times, and twist them together—these are the leg frames.

Third detail. Shoes.
Work in the round with dark brown and white yarns.
Begin knitting with dark brown yarn.
1 Row – Make 6 ch, 4 sc starting from the second loop from the hook, 3 sc in the last loop of the chain, turn the hook clockwise, 3 sc (other side of the chain), 2 sc in the last loop of the round (12 )

Body:

Circular crochet with brown yarn.

5 R – (3 sc, 1 inc) repeat 6 times (30)

Stop crocheting and push a wire frame into the crocheted body. Do this on the 9th round, as shown in the picture.
Place the first upper leg part over the wire and sew it to the body, stuff it well with polyester filling.
Then place the second middle part on the wire and sew it to the upper leg. Stuff it with polyester stuffing as well.
Bend the end of the wire as shown in the picture, put the shoe on it, stuff it well with polyester stuffing and sew the shoe to the center detail.

Push the second wire frame into round 24 of the body and make the front legs in a similar way.

Break the yarn, leaving a long end for sewing. Sew the neck to the body, stuffing it with polyester batting.
Sew the head to the neck

Saddle:

It consists of three parts
First detail. Knitting in the round with dark brown yarn
1 R – Make 8 ch, 6 sc starting from the second loop from the hook, 3 sc in the last loop of the chain, turn the crochet clockwise, 5 sc (other side of the chain), 2 sc in the last loop of the round (16 )
2 R – 1 inc, 5 sc, 3 inc, 5 sc, 2 inc (22)
3 R – 1 sc, 1 inc, 5 sc, (1 sc, 1 inc) repeat 3 times, 5 sc, (1 sc, 1 inc) repeat 2 times (28)
4 R – 2 sc, 1 inc, 5 sc, (2 sc, 1 inc) repeat 3 times, 5 sc, (2 sc, 1 inc) repeat 2 times (34)
5 R – 3 sc, 1 inc, 5 sc, (3 sc, 1 inc) repeat 3 times, 5 sc, (3 sc, 1 inc) repeat 2 times (40)
6 Rnds – crochet crab stitch in each stitch of previous row.

Second detail (x2).
Fold two thick wire stirrup details.

1 Row – crochet 5 sc in top of stirrup, turn hook
2 – 12 Rows –1 turning loop, 5 sc (5).

Sew stirrups to saddle. Sew saddle to horse’s back.

Mane:

Dark brown yarn crochet row.
1 Row – Make in 13 Ch, crochet from the second loop from the hook: 3 sc, 2 hdc, 2 dc, 2 hdc, 3 sc, turn hook to the wrong side.
2 Row – skip 1 stitch from the previous row, 1 sc, 1 inc with sc, 2 hdc, 2 inc with dc, 2 hdc, 1 inc with sc, 1 sc, turn the front part of the crochet.
3 Row – Make in 5 ch, crochet from the second loop from the hook: 1 sc, 1 sc, 1 hdc, 1 dc, crochet 1 sc in the second loop of the previous row – this should be the first “top knot”, crochet 1 sc in the next loop of the previous row and make in 5 ch again for the second “top knot”. Crochet in a similar way. As a result, you should have 7” top knots.

Line:

Dark brown yarn crochet row.
1 Row – Make in 11 ch, crochet from the second loop from the hook: 1 ch, 2 sc, 1 dec, 2 sc, 1 dec, 1 sc, turn the hook to the wrong side
2 Rows – 3 hdc, 3 sc, make in 8 ch
3 Rows – crochet from the second loop from the hook: 1 ch, 9 sc, 3 hdc

Break the yarn, leaving a long end for sewing.
Place the tail and mane on a clean, flat surface and coat them with PVA glue diluted 1:1 with water. Let them dry.
Sew the mane and tail together.

Eyes (x2):

Crochet circular pattern with white yarn.
1 R – magic ring, crochet in the second loop from the hook 4 sc, 2 hdc, 1 dc, 2 hdc (9).
Break the yarn, leaving a long end for sewing. Sew on the eyes and paint the eyes and eyebrows with black acrylic.
